NLT PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES FOR
10/11/2017
The New London Township Planning Commission Meeting opened at 7:00 PM. Present were: Ron Ragan, Chairman; Mary Anne Steel, Vice Chairman; and Member Charlie Humkey. The minutes were recorded by Mary Anne Steel.

Minutes
Ron Ragan asked the Planning Commission if there were any additions or corrections to the Minutes. Charlie Humkey made a motion, seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to approve the
September 13, 2017 Minutes. The vote was unanimous.
Brown / Matsen Subdivision
Ken Crossan and Christian Campbell came before the Planning Commission with a Sketch Plan for the Brown / Matsen tract of property on Walnut Glen Road. The Plan proposes twenty five (25) one (1) acre lots with Open Space. It proposes Chester Water Authority for public water with on site septic. There is a planned Boulevard entrance with an island in the center situated across from Alice Connor’s driveway. There was some discussion regarding whether the Plan complied with the New London Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance in regard to access to the public road. It was mentioned that a Conditional Use would be required in The R 1 District per the Subdivision Land and Development Ordinance regarding the 1,110 feet cul de sac. There was also some discussion regarding the 150 foot buffer from the stream, in a high quality watershed since it appears lots four (4) and five (5) may be close.
