NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WORK MEETING MINUTES
November 15, 2017
The New London Township Board of Supervisors Meeting convened at 7:00 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Gerry Porter; Vice Chairman, Dale Lauver; and Member Mary Anne Steel.
Wheatland Farms Waste Water Treatment Plant
Chris Lenton and Michael DiSantis from DELCORA were in attendance. Township Engineer, Ron Ragan, gave an overview of the Wheatland Farms subdivision and the treatment plant. The Board will discuss and decide whether to move forward. If the project gets the go ahead, the Township and DELCORA will meet again to continue discussions.
Clark Bros. Nursery
Ron Ragan explained that Clark Bros. Nursery would like to put up a pole building. The Township Planning Commission recommended that they submit a letter to the Township requesting a waiver of the New London Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, Chapter 4, Section 103.
A Motion was made by Gerry Porter, seconded by, Dale Lauver to accept the waiver and approve the pole building on the following conditions; that all Zoning Requirements are met, that there will be no sewage facilities, that no retail sales or marketing will be conducted on the property, that they comply with the Stormwater Regulations, and they get a Driveway Permit. The vote was unanimous.
Ballfield Use
The Board of Supervisors decided to update the ballfield use regulations.
Minutes
On a motion made by Mary Anne Steel, and seconded by Dale Lauver, the October 18, 2017 Work Session Minutes were approved as presented. The vote was unanimous.
OLD / NEW BUSINESS
Meeting Room
The Township will call Cedar Knoll Builders for a proposal to make repairs to the Meeting Room.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40 PM.
