NLT PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES FOR
The New London Township Planning Commission Meeting opened at 7:00 PM. Present were: Ron Ragan, Chairman; Mary Anne Steel, Vice Chairman; Members, Martha Straus and Charlie Humkey. Member, Lynn Klingensmith was not present. The minutes were recorded by Maureen Zdun.
Ron Ragan asked the Planning Commission if there were any additions or corrections to the Minutes. Mary Anne Steel made a motion, seconded by Ron Ragan, to approve the
February 8, 2017 Minutes. The vote was unanimous.
Kieras Farm Subdivision / R – 1 And R – 2 Combination
Martha Straus presented a Sketch Plan of the Model Subdivision. There was some discussion regarding the Model.
Riparian Buffer Ordinance
Township Consultant, David Sweet, distributed Seung Ah Byun’s latest draft of the Riparian Buffer Ordinance. There was some discussion. It was agreed to advise Seung Ah Byun to go ahead and prepare the final draft so it can be sent to the Chester County Planning Commission.
Flood Plain Ordinance
Township Consultant, David Sweet distributed a draft regarding open items to the Flood Plain Regulations. Mr. Sweet suggested that the Planning Commission review his suggested changes and compare them to Leslie Rhodes’ draft.
Avon Grove School District Waste Water Treatment Plant Sale To Aqua American
Chairman, Ron Ragan presented to the Planning Commission a copy of the Planning Module of the Avon Grove School District Waste Water Treatment Plant Sale to Aqua American. There was some discussion regarding the sale. The New London Township Planning Commission did not have any formal comments pertaining to the sale.
