Work Meeting Minutes
On a motion made by Bob Barto, seconded by Gerry Porter, the January 15, 2014 Board of Supervisors Work Meeting Minutes were approved, with a minor typographical correction. The vote was unanimous.

Old/New Business
There was brief discussion regarding run-off from the farm on State Road.

Walnut Glen Road
There was discussion regarding the bid package for the bridge on Walnut Glen Road. Ron Ragan advised he contacted the precast company and should have slightly more detailed drawings by next week. Ron advised that bid-letting will probably occur by mid-March and that he is awaiting prevailing wage data. Dale would like to take the blind hill out, so there’s not as steep of a drop. Dale thinks a survey would be a good idea. Ron advised a center-line road profile survey is needed and he will contact Ken Crossan.

Township Park
Ron and Martha Straus are doing the design which will then be used as a bid document. Nancy Fromnick, Recycling Coordinator-Chester County Solid Waste Authority, will attend next week’s PC Work Meeting. There was brief discussion regarding planting buffers, features, a pavilion/amphitheater and possibly a community flower garden.

Building
Dale asked about ECE working on the basement at the Township Building and Gerry advised that with the snow we have had lately, they will probably wait until the weather clears up before starting.

Gerry reported briefly about ambulance funding.

The meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Kim Malone
Assistant Secretary
