NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

WORK MEETING MINUTES

October 17, 2012

The New London Township Board of Supervisors Work Meeting convened at 7:30 PM. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Dale Lauver; Vice-Chairman, Robert Barto; Member, Gerard Porter.

No comment on Agenda items.

Nicole Coggins-Dog Tethering

Mrs. Coggins asked why the Board is not moving forward with a dog tethering ordinance.  The Board of Supervisors, after more research, decided not to move forward with adopting a tethering ordinance.

Robert Lester – Thunder Hill Road Turnaround

Mr. Lester discussed the proposed turnaround for the western portion of Thunder Hill Road.  Township Engineer, Ron Ragan went over the drawing showing the proposed turnaround.  Mr. Lester was in agreement with the plan explained by the Engineer.

Regular Meeting Minutes

On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the September 18, 2012 Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes were approved.  The vote was unanimous.

Invoices

On a motion made by Bob Barto, seconded by Gerry Porter, Crossan-Ramato invoices totaling $2815 and the ECE invoice for $799 were approved.  The vote was unanimous.

Act 167 Plan

Ron Ragan reported that the County Act 167 County Stormwater Management Plan is available for comments.  The Board of Supervisors authorized Ron to review it on behalf of the Township.

The meeting adjourned at 8:20 PM.
