NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REGULAR MEETING MINUTES November 4, 2021
The New London Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting convened at 7:00 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Gerard Porter, Chairman and Mary Anne Steel, Supervisor. Dale Lauver was not present.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no public comment on Agenda items.
Resolution No. 2021-11-1 Save Jennersville Hospital
A Motion was made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to approve Resolution No. 2021-11-1 to save the Jennersville Hospital. The vote was unanimous.
SECRETARY’S REPORT
Regular Meeting Minutes
On a motion by Gerry Porter, seconded by Mary Anne Steel, the October 7, 2021, Regular Meeting Minutes were approved as presented. The vote was unanimous.
Treasurer’s Report
On a motion by Gerry Porter, seconded by Mary Anne Steel, the November bills were approved for payment and the financial reports were approved as presented. The vote was unanimous.
STAFF REPORTS
Planning Commission
Planning Commission Chairman, Ron Ragan, reported there are no new subdivisions. Work still in process for the Landscape Ordinance.
Engineer’s Report
Township Engineer, Ron Ragan, reported that the Chester County Water Resources Authority will hold a stormwater zoom meeting and that he will attend.
Ron is exploring FEMA / PEMA funding for damage from Ida in September.
Ron gave an overview on the condition of the pond in the park. Aeration is suggested by the pond maintenance company. A proposal will be created.
Zoning Report
Zoning Officer, Trish Fagan, reported that seven (7) building permits were issued in October. There were (3) Use and Occupancy Permits issued.
OLD / NEW BUSINESS
New London Township Park
The Board of Supervisors are in favor to apply for a grant for additional improvements to the park.
