NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

APRIL 4, 2013

The New London Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting convened at 7:30 PM.The following Supervisors were present:Vice-Chairman, Robert Barto; Member, Gerard Porter.

PUBLIC COMMENT

No public comment on agenda items.

New London Ventures Land Development Plan

Mike Shiring of Riley Riper Hollin & Colagreco gave an overview of the project.  Ron Ragan stated that stormwater management permits need to be explored by the applicant. On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, a three (3) year extension was approved.  The vote was unanimous by the Board Members that were present.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS

SECRETARY’S REPORT

Regular Meeting Minutes

On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the March 7, 2013 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Minutes were approved.  The vote was unanimous by the Board Members that were present.

STAFF REPORTS

Treasurer Report

On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the April 2013 bills were approved for payment and financial reports were accepted as presented. The vote was unanimous by the Board Members that were present.

Planning Commission

A new two (2) lot Subdivision Plan for the Bramble property located on School Road was submitted.

Ron Ragan reported that a Refuse & Recycling Ordinance is being worked on.

Ron also reported that Crossan-Raimato will survey State & West Avondale Road to determine the Township right-of-way.

Engineer

Ron Ragan reported that the Walnut Glen Road improvements will continue.

Zoning Officer

Trish Fagan reported that thirteen (13) permits were issued in March, four (4) were for single family dwellings.  Two (2) Use and Occupancy Certificates were issued in March, both for single family dwellings.

Emergency Management

Mike Predmore reported that a NIMS Drill will be held on April 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Mike also reported that Jennersville Hospital would like to join AGREM.

Roadmaster

Jack Arrell’s report was read by Bob Barto.

Agricultural Security Area

On a motion made by Bob Barto, seconded by Gerry Porter, three (3) properties were approved for acceptance into the Agricultural Security Area.  The properties are 2097 Chesterville Rd. (11 acres), 55 Camp Bonsul Road (20.3 acres) and 1070 Chesterville Road (29.1 acres).

The meeting adjourned at 8:31 PM.
