NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 5, 2012

The New London Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting convened at 7:30 PM.  The following Supervisors were present:  Chairman, Dale Lauver; Vice-Chairman, Bob Barto; Member, Gerard Porter.

PUBLIC COMMENT

No public comment on agenda items.

SCHEDULED ACTIONS/PRESENTATIONS

McKinney Subdivision Plan

Ron Ragan gave an overview of the Subdivision Plan and stated that the Township Planning Commission recommended approval of the Plan.  On a Motion made by Bob Barto, seconded by Gerry Porter, the Henry W. McKinney, III Final Minor Subdivision Plan dated November 17, 2011, latest revision March 29, 2012 was approved conditioned upon the farmhouse being razed prior to the Board of Supervisors signing the septic system Operation & Maintenance Agreement for Parcel “C”.  The vote was unanimous.

SECRETARY’S REPORT

Regular Meeting Minutes

On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the March 1, 2012 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Minutes were approved with a correction to the Engineer report.  The vote was unanimous.

TREASURER’S REPORT

On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the Bills to Be Paid for April were approved and the financial reports were accepted as presented.  The vote was unanimous.

STAFF REPORTS

Planning Commission

Ron Ragan reported that there are no new Subdivision plans. Nichol’s Subdivision Plan is still active.  The wind and solar draft ordinances are ready to send to the solicitor and the Chester County Planning Commission.

Engineer

Ron Ragan reported that the corner of Pennock Bridge and West Avondale Rd. needs repair.  He will meet with the contractor of the bridge replacement.  Ron Ragan also reported that he is designing a plan to improve Walnut Glen Road.  He also reported that he attended a meeting two weeks ago regarding Act 167.  Model ordinance is projected to be approved by DEP in August.  Also, MS4/NPDES work is continuing.

Zoning Officer

Trish Fagan reported that five (5) permits were issued in March.  One (1) Use & Occupancy Certificates were issued in March.

Emergency Management

No report.
