NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
November 3, 2011
The New London Township Board of Supervisors Meeting convened at 7:30 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Dale Lauver; Member, Gerard Porter.
PUBLIC COMMENT
No public comment on agenda items.
Mark Subdivision
On a Motion by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the Mark Subdivision was approved.
SECRETARY’S REPORT
Due to Dale Lauver’s absence, the 10/6/11 Secretary’s Report could not be approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the Bills to Be Paid for November were approved and the financial reports were accepted as presented.
STAFF REPORTS
Planning Commission
Ron Ragan reported the following:
The Comprehensive Plan final draft will be sent to neighboring Townships, the Avon Grove School District and the County.
No new subdivisions.
A Conditional Use application for Sunoco/A-Plus will be submitted.
We should hear about the DCNR Grant to purchase the Stanwell property next week.
Engineer’s Report
The W. Avondale Rd. Bridge work will start tomorrow with erosion & sediment work being started.
Wheatland Farms Wastewater Treatment Plant will be opening on November 14th & 15th as a trial start-up.
The County will be doing an ACT 167 Study – all Townships will be asked to adopt a stormwater management ordinance.
Zoning Officer
Trish Fagan reported that ten (10) permits were issued; one (1) was for a single-family dwelling; three (3) Use & Occupancy Certificates were issued; one (1) was for a single- family dwelling.
On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, Sam McMichael will be authorized to pursue legal action if Vincent Sammons refused to take down his version of the New London Township website.
