REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
October 2, 2014
The New London Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting convened at 7:30 PM. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Dale Lauver; Member, Gerard Porter.

SCHEDULED ACTIONS & PRESENTATIONS
ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS
West Grove Fire Company
Dale Lauver talked about the formula for the Ambulance and Fire Co. He questioned the increase in mils. Gerry Porter spoke about ambulance funding. There was discussion between the Board and Fire Company representatives.
Recycling Ordinance – Ordinance No. 2014-6
On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the Recycling Ordinance No. 2014-6 was approved. The vote was unanimous.
Duncan
On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the Duncan Final Subdivision Plan dated July 9, 2014 extension was approved until January 5, 2015. The vote was unanimous.
Brown Subdivision
On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the Brown Final Subdivision Plan dated January 10, 2014 extension was approved until January 5, 2015. The vote was unanimous.
Nichol Subdivision
On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the Nichol Final Subdivision Plan dated June 2, 2011 extension was approved until January 5, 2015. The vote was unanimous.
SECRETARY’S REPORT
Regular Meeting Minutes
On a motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the September 4, 2014 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting Minutes were approved as presented. The vote was unanimous.
STAFF REPORTS
Treasurer Report
On a motion made by Dale Lauver, seconded by Gerry Porter, the October 2014 bills were approved for payment and financial reports were accepted. The vote was unanimous.
Planning Commission
Ron Ragan reported that the Duncan Land Development Plan is still being reviewed and an easement to Camp Saginaw is being worked on.
Engineer
Ron Ragan reported that the Wheatland Farms second entrance will be a right turn into the Subdivision and a right turn out of the Subdivision only.
Ron attended the ACT 167 Stormwater Planning meeting to discuss how well it is working.
Ron reported that PECO needs to remove utility poles on Walnut Glen Road.
Zoning Officer
Trish Fagan reported that four (4) permits were issued in September, and one (1) Use & Occupancy Certificate was issued.
Emergency Management
Dave Flad reported that he will need to redo the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). Work is continuing on the AM Radio Station.

Property and Building Use
Dale reported that the Township will explore putting in an oil tank outside and closing the underground tank.
