NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 14, 2018
The New London Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting convened at 7:00 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Gerard Porter; and Member Mary Anne
Steel. Vice Chairman, Dale Lauver, did not attend.
PUBLIC COMMENT
No public comment on agenda items.
Szymanski Subdivision
A Motion was made by Gerry Porter, and seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to accept the extension letter from Ken Crossan of Crossan Raimato, Inc. on behalf of David G. Szymanski to offer an extension for the review of his Subdivision Plan until December 15, 2018. The vote was unanimous.
2019 Budget
The Board reviewed the proposed budget. A Motion was made by Gerry Porter, and seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to advertise the budget. The vote was unanimous.
Resolution No. 2018-11-1 Disposition of Township Records
A Motion was made by Gerry Porter, and seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to approve Resolution 2018-11-1 for the disposition of some Township records consisting of Invoices, Right To Know Requests, and Road Master Reports. The vote was unanimous.
Firefighter’s Tax Incentive Ordinance
The Board discussed the draft provided by the Township Solicitor, Sam McMichael.
SECRETARY’S REPORT
Treasurer Report
On a motion made by Mary Anne Steel, and seconded by Gerry Porter, the November, 2018 bills were approved for payment and financial reports were accepted as presented. The vote was unanimous.
STAFF REPORTS
Planning Commission
Ron Ragan advised the Board that the Planning Commission requested the Township Solicitor’s advice regarding a note on the Szymanski Subdivision Plan to prohibit any further subdivision.
Property And Building Use
Gerry Porter reported that the tree work has been performed at 815 West Avondale Road.
