House numbers are convenient to find addresses but the Township urges you to adhere to the requirements in order to provide emergency responders with the information they need to locate your house in the event of an emergency.
The New London Township Ordinance requires that house numbers need to be at least four inches tall, be reflective, and be placed on a contrasting back ground.
Mail boxes at the end of a driveway are to have the numbers on both sides of the mail box or mail box post. If there are two or more mail boxes located side by side in a row, then the numbers shall be placed on the front of the mail box. If your residence does not have a mail box, you need to have a marker or post with the numbers attached at the end of the driveway to help emergency responders locate your address in the event of an emergency.
