King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Longwood Gardens will begin performing roadway construction operations next week on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in East Marlborough Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Monday, February 5, through Friday, April 26, a 24/7 weekday lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Orchard Avenue and Greenwood Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Longwood Gardens will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
