A Motion was made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to approve the December 16, 2020 New London Township Work Meeting Minutes as presented. The vote was unanimous.

AVON GROVE BULL DOGS

Ken Strawhecker presented a proposal to the Board of Supervisors for their league to use the Township ball field free of charge in exchange for maintaining the field.  They would like to use the ball field thirty nine (39) weekday nights for practices and twelve (12) Sundays for games.  The dates requested would be from March 22, 2021 to June 18, 2021.  Mr. Strawhecker will send Township Assistant Secretary, Maureen Zdun, a google calendar schedule.  The Board of Supervisors agreed to the proposal.

4 WAY STOP AT PENNOCK BRIDGE ROAD AND STATE ROAD

It was agreed that the 4 way stop would consist of extra large stop signs with blinking red lights on State Road and “all way” stop will be added to the Pennock Bridge Road existing stop signs.

The Township will advertise the 4 way stop prior to the signs being installed on the Township Facebook page and web site.  The Township will also notify the Pennsylvania State Police, West Grove Fire Company, and Medic 94.

NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP PARK

Township Engineer, Ron Ragan, showed a picture of the walking bridge built by Cedar Knoll.  There was a suggestion since the bridge is thirty (30) inches high that some steps and a railing should be added.  Ron will talk to Brian Campbell.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Maureen Zdun                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Assistant Secretary
