NLT PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES FOR
5/13/2020
The New London Township Planning Commission Meeting, via Zoom, opened at 7:00 PM. Present were: Ron Ragan, Chairman; Mary Anne Steel, Vice Chairman; and Members, Martha Straus, Charlie Humkey, and Lynn Klingensmith. The Minutes were recorded by

Public Comment
There was no public comment.
Amos S. and Mary S. Esh Final Minor Subdivision
Ed Jeffers from Concord Land Planners Inc. was present to represent Amos Esh. Planning Commission Chairman, Ron Ragan, advised that the Amos S. and Mary S. Esh Final Minor Subdivision Plan prepared by Concord Land Planners and Surveyors, Inc. dated January 9, 2020, last revised Mary 4, 2020, shows they would like to remove one mobile home and replace with a new mobile home. There was some discussion on waiting for the Chester County Health Department to see if the original septic can be used or if a new system is needed. It was agreed to table the plan to the Planning Commission Work Meeting on May 28, 2020.
Comprehensive Plan
Ron Ragan advised that the Board of Supervisors agreed to allow the Planning Commission to hire the Brandywine Conservancy to conduct the Sustainable Communities Assessment Program. The Board will need a formal proposal in regard to the Sustainable Communities Assessment program from the Brandywine Conservancy. The Board of Supervisors will then make a Motion to approve. It was agreed that an application for the Vision Grant to up date the New London Township Comprehensive Plan will be made in 2021.
New London Township Park
Mary Anne Steel told the Planning Commission that the Board of Supervisors have agreed not to have the pilings and gazebo installed in the park at this time. The Planning Commission agreed to place the abandoned truck near the parking lot. Martha Straus recommended we may want to have a Park Committee meeting. There was some discussion.
