REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
October 6, 2011
The New London Township Board of Supervisors Meeting convened at 7:30 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Dale Lauver; Member, Gerard Porter.
PUBLIC COMMENT
No public comment on agenda items.
Resolution No. 2011-9-1 – Adopting & Approving New London Township Agricultural Security Area Proposal with Additions and Modifications
On a Motion by Dale Lauver, seconded by Gerry Porter, Resolution No. 2011-9-1 was rescinded. The vote was unanimous.
Resolution No. 2011-10-1 – Adopting & Approving New London Township Agricultural Security Area Proposal with Additions and Modifications
On a Motion by Dale Lauver, seconded by Gerry Porter, Resolution No. 2011-10-1 was adopted. The vote was unanimous.
Mark Subdivision-Extension
On a Motion by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the Mark Subdivision Extension was approved. The vote was unanimous.
SECRETARY’S REPORT
On a Motion by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the September 1, 2011 Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes were approved. The vote was unanimous.
Agricultural Security Area Hearing
On a Motion by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the September 1, 2011 Hearing Minutes were approved. The vote was unanimous.
TREASURER’S REPORT
On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, the Bills to Be Paid for October were approved and the financial reports were accepted as presented. The vote was unanimous.
STAFF REPORTS
Planning Commission
Ron Ragan reported the following:
The Comprehensive Plan comments have been received from the Chester County Planning Commission. Two of the comments will be addressed by the New London Township Planning Commission.
No new subdivisions.
Planning Commission is presently working on a Rental Ordinance.
Major Event Ordinance will be worked on shortly.
Engineer’s Report
Ron Ragan advised he will meet with the W. Avondale Road bridge contractor next week.
Thunder Hill Rd.– Northwestern End – Crossan-Raimato will survey next week for installation of turnaround.
Wheatland Farms Wastewater Treatment Plant is near completion. There will be a start-up meeting with operators in two weeks.
Zoning Officer
Trish Fagan reported that six (6) permits were issued; one (1) was for a single-family dwelling; seven (7) Use & Occupancy Certificates were issued; five (5) were for single- family dwellings.

Ron Ragan reported that the work for the new PECO monopole has begun in Kelton.
