WORK MEETING MINUTES

December 21, 2011

 

 

The New London Township Board of Supervisors Hearing convened at 7:15 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Dale Lauver; Vice-Chairman, Bob Barto; Member, Gerard Porter.

 

Amendment to the New London Township UCC

Dale Lauver gave an overview of the proposed amendments to the UCC. There was no public comment. The Hearing closed at 7:25 PM.

 

The New London Township Board of Supervisors Meeting convened at 7:35 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present: Chairman, Dale Lauver; Vice-Chairman, Bob Barto; Member, Gerard Porter.

 

PUBLIC COMMENT

No public comment on agenda items.

 

2012 Budget

On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the 2012 Budget was adopted as presented. The vote was unanimous.

 

Ordinance No. 2011-01-Amendment to the New London Township UCC

On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, Ordinance No. 2011-01 was approved. The vote was unanimous.

 

Bilco Door Bid for Front Porch of Township Building

The Board agreed to hold off on putting Bilco doors off to a later date.

 

JMC Contractors, Inc. Invoice

On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, payment of $190,660.00 from the General Fund Account 209 line item and $41,455.40 from the Safety Improvement Fund for the W. Avondale Road Bridge replacement was approved. The vote was unanimous.

 

SECRETARY’S REPORT

On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the November 3, 2011 Minutes were approved as presented. Dale Lauver abstained as he was not present at the November 3rd meeting. On a Motion made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Bob Barto, the November 16, 2011 Minutes were approved with correction of Bob Barto added as being in attendance. The vote was unanimous.
