Board of Supervisors Work Meeting January 16, 2008

NEW LONDON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WORK MEETING MINUTES
January 16, 2008  

The New London Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting convened at 7:36 PM at the New London Township Building, New London, PA. 

The following Supervisors were present:  Chairman, Dale Lauver; Vice Chairman, Robert Barto; Member, Gerard Porter.   

PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS There were no public comments on the Agenda.  

Harkins Subdivision SALDO Waiver Request Jack Wuerstle, attorney for the developer gave an overview on why the waiver is requested.  Harkins would like a waiver of Section 2-306 and an extension of the Final Plan filing dated until April 5, 2009.  Mr. Wuerstle feels that such an extension will allow Harkins sufficient time to review their Final Plan submission against the final version of the revised Sewer Extension Agreement and make any appropriate adjustments required. On a motion made by Bob Barto and seconded by Gerry Porter, the vote was unanimous to grant the waiver.  

Massey Subdivision On a motion made by Dale Lauver and seconded by Gerry Porter, the vote was unanimous to approve the Massey Subdivision Plan dated July 3, 2007, latest revision October 1, 2007.  

Megill/Matsen On a motion made by Dale Lauver and seconded by Bob Barto, the vote was unanimous to send the Planning Waiver and Non-Building Declaration to DEP.  

Marshall Subdivision On a motion made by Bob Barto and seconded by Gerry Porter, the vote was unanimous to grant an extension to April 30, 2008 to the Marshall Subdivision Plan dated October 12, 2007, latest revision December 7, 2007.  

SECRETARY’S REPORT On a motion made by Dale Lauver, seconded by Gerry Porter, the December 19, 2007 Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes were approved as written.  

NEW/OLD BUSINESS Dale Lauver reported that the Methodist Church will meeting with the Planning Commission to subdivide to provide some land to the owner of New London Automotive.  

The meeting adjourned at 8:47 PM.
