The New London Township Board of Supervisors Meeting convened at 7:00 PM at the New London
Township Building, New London, PA. The following Supervisors were present:
Gerry Porter, Chairman; Dale Lauver, Vice Chairman; and Mary Anne Steel, Supervisor.
Executive Session
There was an Executive Session held prior to this meeting to discuss a possible acquisition.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no public comment on agenda items.
John W. Price and Stephania Price Final Subdivision Plan
The Township Engineer, Ron Ragan, gave an over view of the Plan. He advised that the New London
Township Planning Commission approved the Plan at their meeting on February 8, 2023.
Motion was made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver to approve the John W. Price and Stephania
Price Final Subdivision Plan dated November 16, 2022, revised date December 23, 2023. The vote was
unanimous.
Resolution No.: 2023 – 2 – 1 Chester County Grant Participation
Motion was made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Mary Anne Steel, to approve and adopt Resolution No.
2023 – 2 – 1 to participate with the Chester County Grant. The vote was unanimous.
East Nottingham PennDOT Stream Restoration Project
There was some discussion regarding the East Nottingham PennDOT Stream Restoration Project.
Motion was made by Gerry Porter, seconded by Dale Lauver, to execute the contract agreement for the
East Nottingham PennDOT Stream Restoration Project, to reduce pollution load, subject to confirmation
by PennDOT and the DEP that New London Township would receive the credits proposed and further
approved by the Township Engineer. The vote was unanimous.
Stormwater Management Ordinance
It was agreed to adopt the Stormwater Management Ordinance with its own definitions. The Township
Engineer, Ron Ragan, and the Township Solicitor, Winnie Sebastian, will work on getting the Stormwater
Management Ordinance adopted.
