NLT PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES FOR 11/8/2023
The New London Township Planning Commission Meeting opened at 7:00 p.m. Present were: Ron Ragan, Chairman; Mary Anne Steel, Vice Chairman; David Sweet, Township Consultant, and Members, Martha Straus, and Charlie Humkey. David Schupp was not present. Minutes were recorded by Donna Milewski.
Public Comment
There was no public comment.
Minutes
A motion was made by Mary Anne Steel and seconded by Charlie Humkey to approve the minutes of the 6/14/2023, 8/9/2023, 9/13/2023, and 10/11/2023 meetings.
Amy Stegman – Thunder Hill Meadows
Amy Stegman, owner of Thunder Hill Meadows, along with her attorney, Kristin Camp, and contractor, Adam Althauser were present. Kristin Camp presented a draft ordinance concerning short-term rental use of historic buildings. After some discussion, it was agreed that Kristin Camp will make edits and present at a later date.
Ron Ragan proposed the creation of an approved list of historic structures by resolution that could be updated, as needed.
Lytle & Bushnell Subdivision
Charle Humkey made a motion, seconded by Martha Straus, to approve the Final Subdivision Plan for property owned by David Lytle & Barbara Lytle and Timothy Bushnell & Barbara Bushnell, dated August 30, 2023.
Ordinance Amendments
David Sweet presented a list of R-1 and associated ordinance amendments. A motion was made by Martha Straus, seconded by Charlie Humkey, to pass Chapters 1, 2, and 4 onto the Board of Supervisors and recommended submission for Act 247 review.
