The New London Township Planning Commission Regular Meeting opened at 7:00 PM. Present were: Ron Ragan, Chairman; David Schupp, Vice Chairman; and Member(s) Mary Anne Steel, (Rhiannon Sayles). Member Charlie Humkey was absent. The Minutes were recorded by David Schupp.

There was no public comment.

Minutes

A motion was made by David Schupp, seconded by Mary Anne Steel to approve the amended November 13, 2024 Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes. The vote was unanimous.

Ordinance Amendments

Discussed sending Chapters 1, 2 and 4 along with the township zoning map to the County for review. A motion was made by Mary Anne Steel to approve sending the documents to the County, seconded by David Schupp. The vote was unanimous.

Subdivisions

Ron Ragan reported the response from the review for the proposed Borreggine Subdivision was completed and sent to the Township. Ron will complete the required review and send to the Board of Supervisors for their review. Ron also reported all of the required payments have been made. A motion was made by David Schupp and seconded by Mary Anne Steel to send to Board of Supervisors. The vote was unanimous.

Ron reported his conversation with David Sweet, Township consultant, concerning the New London Village, NLV, fair share requirements. They also discussed the Township comprehensive plan and any future changes.

The Planning Commission, PC, discussed the Kirk farm subdividing options. No recommendation was made at this time. The PC also discussed phase II of the park and any needs to subdivide any of the park property.

Old Business/New Business

Ron Ragan discussed the option of making the PC meetings available via Zoom. This will need further review for equipment requirements and legal requirements.
