Our March, 2024 work date will be held Sunday March 3rd from 9:00 AM to Noon. All are welcome to come and help. Our Park Steward Joe has been doing some heavy lifting at the park this week so there will be plenty for us to do to support this work. We will be continuing the trail expansion into the Farrell tract, which will improve visitor access into this unique and cool area. We’ll keep on with our pruning work, too, and try to get as much done before the leaves start to pop.
As always, there will be some tools and gloves available, but we will need additional trimmers and saws, lopping and pruning shears, and anything else you like to work with. The thorns are abundant, and poison ivy is common. For your safety, remember gloves, long pants and sleeves, sturdy shoes and water bottles.
